Hanker Systems Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 15 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Requirements

• RN License Of OH Required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• At least 1 year of current specialty experience within the last 3 years
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• First-time travelers will be screened

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Preferred Certifications

• NIHSS
• ONS Chemo Certification

Unit

Acute Leukemia & Hematology

• No chemo certification required
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Training provided for oncology patients

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients
• Monitor and manage acute leukemia and hematology patients
• Perform telemetry and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Administer blood products and IV therapy
• Maintain central lines and PICC lines
• Support infection prevention and fall prevention protocols
• Respond to rapid response situations as needed
• Float to other MedSurg Oncology units when required
