There is no roadmap to future success, so we need people who can help us build it.The Role:Monitor execution across equities, FX, Futures and other asset classes, trading in different regions.Provide first-line support for any issues arising from the automated execution flow.Conduct project work in areas including adding new liquidity to the execution platform and reducing the cost of implementing WorldQuant’s models.Analyze large datasets to guide further automation and refinement of execution desk processes.Interface directly with Portfolio Managers, Brokers, Senior Management, Compliance, Risk and many other teams.What You’ll Bring: Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline from a top tier institution1+ years of work experience gained in a buy-side or sell-side institution in a Trading, DevOps or Analytics role supporting investment strategiesEnthusiasm to learn more about financial markets and execution tradingExperience with scripting languages (Python) and databases (SQL) a strong plusExperience with at least one mainstream asset class (equities, FX, fixed income, credit, derivatives)Location: NYCOur Benefits:Core Benefits: Fully paid medical and dental insurance for employees and dependents, flexible spending account, 401k, fully paid parental leave, generous PTO (paid time off) that consists of: twenty vacation days that are pro-rated based on the employee’s start date, at an accrual of 1.67 days per month,three personal days, andten sick days.Perks: Employee discounts for gym memberships, wellness activities, healthy snacks, casual dress codeTraining: learning and development courses, speakers, team-building off-siteEmployee resource groupsWorldQuant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits. The estimated salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
