About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer to provide enterprise-level leadership in the long-term planning, development, programming, and infrastructure strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and advancing the future of the organization through integrated strategic planning, capital prioritization, and development governance. This role requires ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and fiscal stewardship. The Chief Development Officer will lead the development of the Master Plan, establish governance frameworks, and direct the implementation of the enterprise development strategy to support long-term growth, sustainability, and resilience. Additionally, the role involves serving as a key advisor to executive leadership, overseeing compliance with regulations, and maintaining senior-level relationships with government and regulatory agencies. Candidates for the Chief Development Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and at least 15 years of direct experience in airport planning, programming, construction management, or closely related fields. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervisory techniques, fiscal management, contract management, project management, and a thorough understanding of FAA regulations. Professional accreditation in a relevant field is required, and experience in a comparable or larger size airport is highly valued. The role demands a leader with demonstrated skills in staff management, communication, negotiation, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. The Chief Development Officer will also be responsible for ensuring the privacy and security of protected health information in accordance with relevant policies.
