Mover / Laborer

Position Overview We are hiring Movers to join our team at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Columbia, SC. You will be responsible for loading and unloading items from our moving trucks and for providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Being a mover is fun and fulfilling for those who enjoy physical activity, problem‑solving, helping, and interacting with people in the community. Compensation Starting Pay: $14 / hour + tips . Weekly Friday pay . Key Responsibilities Load and unload items from our moving trucks, ensuring they are properly secured and transported safely. Work with our team of movers to move furniture, boxes, and other household items within homes and businesses. Provide friendly and professional customer service to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure a smooth and successful move. Use problem‑solving skills to navigate tight spaces, tricky corners, and other challenges during the move. Ensure that all necessary equipment, such as dollies and moving blankets, is used properly. Maintain a positive, can‑do attitude. Requirements A willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends. The ability to lift 100 pounds. The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs. A friendly personality with customer‑service skills. The ability to work effectively in a team environment. A commitment to safety and professionalism.
