L&D Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is available at an acute care medical center/long-term care facility/outpatient center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassionate care while ensuring high standards of practice in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Position Details

Start Date: Early December
Shift: 3x12 Variable
Years of Experience: 1 year required
First Timers: Accepted
On-Call Requirement: No
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks with the possibility of being called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks

Qualifications

Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate
Skills Required: As per unit description
Float Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
Local Candidates: Not accepted (Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility)
Pending License: Not accepted
RTO Restrictions: Based upon request

Housing Information

Housing accommodations are provided to travelers during the assignment. The specifics include:

Typically 1-bedroom apartments
Available for move-in no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no longer than 24 hours after the contract ends
Pets are not allowed
Housing units are designed for the traveler only; additional family members require prior approval
Units must be cleaned upon departure to avoid additional cleaning fees
