Apartment Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $21.00 per Hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

BG Staffing is seeking a dependable and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you have hands-on maintenance experience, take pride in your work, and enjoy helping maintain safe and attractive apartment communities, we want to hear from you.

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring apartment homes, common areas, and community amenities are maintained to the highest standards. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a respected staffing partner in the multifamily housing industry.

• Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related issues
• Assist with apartment turns and unit make-readies
• Repair and replace fixtures, appliances, hardware, and building components as needed
• Maintain community grounds and common areas
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
• Communicate effectively with residents, property staff, and supervisors

• Previous apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities throughout the day
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance materials and equipment as required

To maintain a professional appearance on-site, employees are required to wear:

• Black pants
• Black or navy shirt
• Appropriate work boots or closed-toe work shoes
