Job TitlePsychologistJob DescriptionThis full time position consists of a psychologist that participates in a full range of psychotherapeutic, diagnostic and training activities in the Mental Health & Behavioral Science Service at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center - New Albany CBOC.DutiesThe psychologist is responsible for completing the following duties:Provides psychological treatment and servicesProvides psychological evaluation and assessmentPerforms consultation and trainingParticipates in meetings, committees or projects as assignedThe psychologist will:Provide a full range of evidence based therapeutic interventions in group and individual formatsDevelop comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment strategiesDevelop and document clear treatment goalsDevelop and implement clinical proceduresPerform evaluations of Veterans with psychological, mood and personality disordersConsult with medical center staff on patient care issuesBe involved in the training of medical students, residents, nursing students, fellows and other graduate or post-graduate traineesAttend and participate in organizational meetings, treatment planning meetings and assigned committees or projectsWork ScheduleMonday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pmIncentivesRecruitment/Relocation Incentives (Sign-on Bonus): Not AuthorizedPermanent Change of Station (Relocation Assistance): Not AuthorizedEDRP Authorized: Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply for incentive.
