Sr. Domain Architect

Job Overview Senior Domain Architect in Subscription Billing and Marketplace. Partners with architecture, development, product, finance, operations and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions for subscription billing, recurring revenue management, billing integrations and digital marketplace capabilities. Responsible for the solution strategy from early ideation through design, testing and deployment. Helps establish architectural guardrails, technical documentation and implementation standards. Success is measured by delivering reliable, compliant and scalable solutions that align with enterprise architecture principles and enhance business and customer outcomes. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement architectural guardrails to ensure compliance and support reliable delivery of technology solutions. Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into optimized solutions supporting subscription billing, recurring revenue management and digital marketplace capabilities. Work closely with business partners during conceptualization and vision stages of new projects, helping define solution options that meet business reasons before project funding and startup. Create and present high-level solution designs, plans and roadmaps to guide development and leadership decisions. Support the product lifecycle from business discussions through testing and deployment, including subscription product modeling, billing integrations, requirement refinement and data design to meet business needs. Mentor and coach team members on best practices to strengthen technical capabilities and promote knowledge sharing. Own the evaluation and implementation of infrastructure, processes and tools to evolve technology services, including subscription platforms, API integrations, cloud-native services and modernization initiatives. Coordinate solution implementation with development, infrastructure, testing and support teams. Perform other duties/projects assigned by business management as needed. Education and Work Experience Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (required). Acceptable areas of study include technology (required). 4–7 years of experience with enterprise level database systems such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server or others, with an emphasis on Teradata (required). Preferred Qualifications Experience crafting or integrating enterprise platforms supporting subscription management, billing, payments, recurring revenue or digital commerce ecosystems. Experience with API architecture, integration design and platform modernization initiatives. Experience working in Agile product delivery environments with multi‑functional partners such as Product Management, Engineering, Finance and Operations. Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices architecture or cloud‑native service patterns. Exposure to subscription billing or commerce platforms. Familiarity with Agentic AI Development proficiencies or Claude Development tools. Licenses and Certifications Enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, data architecture, Agile delivery, subscription billing, commerce platform or API integration certification preferred, such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Certified ScrumMaster (preferred). Minimum Requirements At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States.
