Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Author to create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, service procedures, repair information, interactive schematics, and help guides. This role partners closely with engineering, manufacturing, compliance, product management, and subject matter experts to ensure documentation is accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with established standards. Experience with Arbortext is required.


Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, service methods, repair procedures, and help guides.
• Develop and update interactive schematics and other technical content to support products and services.
• Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing teams, compliance groups, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather and validate technical information.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and compliant with established style guides and documentation standards.
• Organize, manage, and maintain technical document repositories and version-controlled content.
• Write clear, concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create or coordinate technical illustrations and visual aids to support written content.
• Perform copy editing, proofreading, and fact-checking to ensure documentation quality and accuracy.
• Utilize Arbortext software to author, publish, and maintain technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of documentation processes, standards, and content quality.
