PRN Inpatient Psychiatrist | Lucrative Hourly Rate | West Allis, Wisconsin

We are seeking a PRN Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at Granite Hills Hospital in West Allis, WI. This is your opportunity to join the dynamic team at a newer state-of-the-art psychiatric facility to provide weekend, overnight, as needed advanced behavioral health care to the great Milwaukee community and surrounding areas. Quick Facts

Employment Type: Hospital Employed , PRN, Inpatient Psychiatry Coverage
Schedule / Hours: Weekend rounding on-site (Sat/Sun 8 am - 5 pm) and/or after hours, on-call coverage on weekday nights and/or weekend nights telephonic or tele-psychiatry (5 pm - 8 am)

Location: West Allis, Wisconsin
Practice Setting: Behavioral Health Facility; inpatient, PHP/IOP treatment

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient rounding, admissions, treatment team participation, discharge summaries and medication management.
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff

Compensation & Benefits

Qualifications

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
Wisconsin Medical License or ability to obtain
Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians

Granite Hills offers high-quality patient centered care, nestled in the vibrant suburb of West Allis, our facility boasts evidence-based treatment modalities and features a multi-disciplinary team of expert medical professionals. With a wide range of treatment for adolescents, adults and older adults. Our 120 beds are split into 5 groups of 24 with enclosed outdoor spaces to promote healing. Granite Hills Hospital offers inpatient and outpatient care, as well as a Partial Hospitalization Program. We help determine the best treatment option for every patient, no matter where they are on their journey to recovery, as we work towards a positive outcome and a healthy life.

West Allis is a city just west of Milwaukee and part of the greater Milwaukee-Waukesha metro area. It is a city with deep roots, lots of local flavor, famous for hosting the WI State Fair at the State Fair Park which also is the home of the oldest operating motor speedway, The Milwaukee Mile. West Allis is near the lively and varied food and entertainment scene in Downtown Milwaukee. From top-tier restaurants and cozy pubs to lively nightlife districts, live music festivals, and cultural attractions Milwaukee provides year-round entertainment.
