Senior Product Manufacturing Engineer (Onsite)

Responsibilities Provide direct support to the manufacturing shop floor and drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple steps spanning the full value stream of the parts. Act as the primary manufacturing point of contact for a specific part family, engaging cross‑functional teams (Process Manufacturing Engineers, Design Engineers, Project Engineers, Quality Engineers, Structural Engineers) to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Identify, track, and coordinate projects that reduce cost of poor quality and improve operational capacity, using project management tools in a multidisciplinary environment. Drive targeted manufacturing process optimization activities through MRL tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement Systems Analysis, Yield & Cost Curves, and Qualification Plans. Manage KPC and leverage PPAP elements to increase first‑pass yield across the manufacturing value stream. Fully document problem statements, observations, conclusions, calculations, and recommendations. Communicate and work with senior management for risk escalation and mitigation plans. Support the project pipeline process to select, prioritize, and scope projects to improve first‑pass yield and throughput across the value stream. Qualifications B.S. in a STEM field with minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing or Master’s degree with minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing. U.S. Citizenship required. Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and collaborate across disciplines. Experience in a manufacturing shop environment. Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Good analytical and problem‑solving skills. Preferred: Six Sigma project leadership / management / coaching experience. Preferred: Experience in project management tools (MS Projects, Smartsheets). Preferred: Experience with PW software tools (Solumina, SAP), UG/NX, Teamcenter, and statistical software (Minitab, DOE, multivariate statistics). Preferred: Prior work on rotating gas turbine parts. Salary and Benefits Salary range: USD $86,800 - $165,200.
