Work Location: Remote in the following states: CO, GA, FL, MA, MN, NC, NJ, NY, PA, SC, TN, TX & VA.

Candidates must currently reside in one of the states listed. Relocation is not considered.

Job Summary:

\n

The full stack Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the development of new projects and support of existing code bases. The primary role will be to build and support all aspects of the software technology stack, insuring maximum uptime, performance, and scalability. Our technology is built around a Microsoft Windows technology stack.

Our team is geographically disbursed. We leverage Agile methodologies to help manage workload and keep our various stake holders in the loop. The candidate will be required to have a high level of communication skills, both verbal and written and will be expected to interact with all levels of the business and on occasion with customers.

\n

\n

In this position, the employee is challenged to maintain, improve, and create new features in an ever-changing environment while ensuring stability and site performance.

\n

\n

Supervisory Responsibilities:

\n

This position will not have direct supervisory responsibilities but will require frequent coordination, and when appropriate direction, of the activities of team members or third parties as necessary to accomplish the assigned tasks.

\n

\n

Duties/Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Utilize software engineering best practices and design principles
\n
• Team oriented mindset with the ability to work with local and remote teams
\n
• Support and mentoring for development team members at lower levels of skill
\n
• Create and maintain large scale .Net websites, microsites, and landing pages
\n

\n

o Integrate designs and .Net back-end functionality

\n

o Architect, program, troubleshoot, and support websites and related applications using:

\n

 .NET Technologies 

\n

 Microsoft SQL Server

\n

 Elastic Search

\n

 Various 3rd party technologies

\n

o Convert designs and mockups to functioning web pages according to best practices

\n

o Verify website functionality on multiple browsers and platforms

\n

\n
• Proactive in providing suggestions in regard to product development, new services and technologies or enhancements to existing systems/configurations, which will assist the end user in improving overall service to our customers
\n
• Provide on-going production support as needed
\n
• Develop solutions using best practices and stream-lined architecture in order to maintain optimal system performance
\n
• Reviews business requirements documentation and translates those requirements into unique, high-quality solutions
\n
• Work independently and manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
\n
• Act as a project level team lead to help team members working with you on various projects.
\n
• Participate in on-call duty as required for application support
\n

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong level of experience using AI Assisted Software Engineering patterns and practices
\n
• Experience with Windows Azure Environments
\n
• Experience with both server level and client-side caching
\n
• Ability to write technical documentation to articulate technical design and implementation
\n
• Ability to bring projects to successful conclusions, understand best practices, and has good SDLC knowledge and skills
\n
• Take responsibility and ownership of work, while having a strong desire to help others succeed
\n

Education and Experience:

\n

\n
• Proactive, self-motivated, and strong ability to multitask
\n
• High level of organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
\n
• A Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or related field
\n
• 5+ years of Development using .NET technologies
\n
• 2+ years of UI / UX Design
\n
• 2+ years of Responsive Web Design
\n

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
