Dairy Services Technician

We are seeking a Dairy Services Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for surveying, installing, programming, maintaining, and repairing Specialty Sales equipment and systems at customer locations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Following all Specialty Sales LLC safety policies and operating procedures
• Using required PPE correctly and consistently
• Inspecting and advising customers on equipment and the proper handling of Specialty Sales products
• Surveying, installing, setting up, and programming custom equipment at customer locations
• Performing plumbing, welding, and electrical fabrication for systems including HoofStrong systems
• Troubleshooting and repairing installed equipment systems
• Partnering with Sales Account Managers during field inspections and repairs
• Traveling to customer sites as required
• Maintaining accurate parts inventory
• Reporting all accidents, injuries, safety issues, driving citations, service interruptions, or customer complaints immediately to supervisor
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
• Assisting in other company areas as needed
• Performing additional duties to support business needs

Requirements include:

• Must provide documentation of employment eligibility per state and federal regulations
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must successfully pass all position-related pre-employment screenings

Education and experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, welding, and electrical wiring
• Strong troubleshooting and equipment repair skills

Certifications and licensing:

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company insurability standards
• Forklift certification preferred
