Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting II

Associate, Fund Client Accounting Location: Los Angeles, CA. This role is part of the Fund Accounting team. You will conduct accounting services for assigned clients and funds, ensuring accurate net asset values, performance calculations, expense allocations, and reporting. Responsibilities Conduct accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds, determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports. Perform Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities that drive Service Improvement plans, target efficiencies, enhance processes, and support specialist review functions. Check the work of more junior team members. Manage cash and asset reconciliations for more intricate accounts or transactions within assigned funds. Reconcile account expenses for complex transactions and ensure proper allocation. Escalate atypical transactions to senior team members. Draft client reports regarding fund performance and review first draft reports completed by junior staff. Interact with clients, answering questions regarding fund reports and accounting processes. Provide guidance to less experienced team members; may have people‑management responsibilities in some geographies. Contribute to the achievement of team objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3–5 years of total work experience preferred. Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred. Salary The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $70,000 per year at the commencement of employment. The final salary will be determined on an individualized basis as part of the total compensation package, which may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and company‑sponsored benefit programs.
