This position will be responsible for following the directions of the Journeyman Electrician to complete electrical maintenance and repair work.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesObserve, learn, and understand a wide range of skills and processes under the instruction of a skilled electrician.Demonstrate these skills and processes as on-the-job training progresses by working independently or with others to complete assigned tasks.Learn and understand the importance of safety within the workspace and across projects.Learn about the various tools and materials required for electricians to complete tasks and projects.Maintain good housekeeping and organization in the work area.Properly utilize the required tools and equipment for each specific task.Required:Have between 2-4 years (4000-7500 OJT hours) of electrical work experienceStrong understanding of the importance of quality workDetail-oriented with strong communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with others to promote efficiencyPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
