Details 13-week assignment in a Cat Scan/CT unit Shift schedule Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric Uses Epic for charting Start date may be adjusted based on credentialing clearance timeline Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience required ARRT Registered as RT(R) or RT(N) ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred; if not held at hire, must be obtained within 1 year Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board - license required if applicable Current BLS certification (AHA only) Ability to insert and remove IVs Knowledge of special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred Additional Information Performs CT procedures under the direction of a physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts Follows federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates accepted; must reside within 60 miles of Boston, MA American Traveler Job ID P-748245.
