Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Seasonal Contract, 13 Weeks, Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Seasonal Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | No On-Call Required | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk maternal patients at a Level 4 designated maternal center across all gestational ages
• Assist with and support vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, D&C, C-hysterectomy, and PASD cases
• Function in circulating operating room and triage roles as needed
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity and census
• Collaborate within a team-oriented environment alongside charge nurses, surgical techs, and unit clerks
• Document accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience with high-risk maternal patients
• Experience in circulating operating room and triage settings
• Ability to multi-task, adapt quickly, and maintain a fast pace in a high-acuity environment
• Strong team-player mindset and collaborative approach to patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Greater than 5 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
• Experience with complex obstetric procedures including PASD and C-hysterectomy cases
