Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Site EHS SpecialistRequired Skills & Experience:• High School Diploma/GED• 3 - 5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a site-based setting• Strong knowledge of local and global EHS regulations and standards• Demonstrates proficiency in conducting thorough inspections and investigations• Intermediate experience utilizing computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite• Demonstrates proficiency with EHS software and documentation practices• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities in an efficient manner• Strong commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment• Proactive "self-starter" with strong attention to detail and identifying and addressing EHS issues• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Capable of adapting to changes in regulations and site-specific needs• Experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment• Ability to satisfactorily complete OSHA 30 course within first 90 days of employment• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as interpersonal skills enabling effective interaction with employees on all levels, including executive leadership• Valid Driver's LicenseJob Description:A client of Insight Global is searching for a full time Site EHS Specialist. The primary responsibility of the Site Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist is to implement, manage, and maintain the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs at the site level. This role ensures all site operations comply with global EHS policies, procedures, and local regulations. The Site EHS Specialist will conduct regular inspections, oversee training programs, and address any EHS-related issues to promote a safe and compliant working environment.Target salary is 80-90k. Working onsite 7:30-3:30PM everyday M-F.
