The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking experienced Software Engineers to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support for formal testing and delivery. Responsibilities Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) including requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, coding, unit testing, integration, and support for formal testing and delivery. Desired Skills Knowledge of Agile Software Development Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE) Previous experience designing to software requirements Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & testing Location / Work Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting.
