Position Summary
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating, qualifying, and closing residential concrete coating projects. This is a relationship-driven sales role focused on homeowners throughout the Wichita metro area and surrounding communities.
This position is responsible for developing its own leads through networking, referrals, community involvement, strategic partnerships, and direct prospecting.
Success in this role depends on initiative, consistent follow-up, and the ability to communicate the value of premium floor coating systems.
CompensationCompensation Type: Commission Only
Commission Rate: 9.5% of Gross Profit
Commission Eligibility: Paid after customer payment is received by Epoxy Expressions
There are no guaranteed wages or hours associated with this position.
Commission calculations are based on the final gross profit of each completed and collected project.

Primary ResponsibilitiesGenerate residential sales opportunities through self-directed prospecting
Build relationships with homeowners and referral partners
Attend networking events and community functions
Conduct in-home consultations and site visits
Measure project areas and gather project information
Educate homeowners on coating systems, colors, and options
Prepare and present estimates and proposals
Follow up consistently with prospective customers
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status
Coordinate project handoff to operations after contract execution
Lead generation is the sole responsibility of the Outside Sales Representative.
Expected activities include:
Referral generation
Social media engagement
Networking groups
Community events
Builder relationships
Realtor partnerships
Direct outreach
Past customer follow-up

Ideal CandidateSelf-motivated and disciplined
Comfortable working independently
Strong communication skills
Experience with in-home sales preferred
Construction or coatings experience preferred
Available for evening and weekend appointments
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Monthly goals may include:
40 new prospect conversations
20 in-home appointments
15 proposals delivered
6–8 projects sold
Performance will be evaluated based on:
Gross profit generated
Close rate
Follow-up consistency
Lead generation activity
Customer experience
