Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital seeks a part-time RN to provide compassionate labor and delivery care on the night shift. You will support mothers and newborns through labor, birth, and immediate postpartum recovery, performing assessments, fetal monitoring, IV therapy, and medication administration while responding promptly to OB emergencies. Working within a small, mission-driven safety-net hospital, you will collaborate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff to deliver culturally responsive, family-centered care for a diverse, historically underserved South Los Angeles community. This role includes thorough EHR documentation, patient and family education, strict adherence to safety and infection-control standards, and active participation in quality and process improvement initiatives. Night shift roles may include a differential.
