Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU

• Care for cardiac patients, constituting 50% of cases
• Respond to code blue calls
• Monitor cardiac functions and manage patients with Artlines, vents, and Bipaps
• Remove ventilators as needed
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis equipment
• Float to Tele and ER units as required

Requirements of the RN - CVICU

• Active MN state RN license
• Active AHA ACLS certification
• Active AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
• 2-3 years of cardiac experience
• Experience with EPIC or similar EMR systems
