Position Summary Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests, including preparing and pouring beverages. Ensures quality of food presentation, utilizes a cash register, accepts payment, and maintains excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy. The role will pay an hourly rate of $17.00-$20.00 and is tip eligible (per CBA). Benefits As Per The Union Agreement This position will remain open until September 25, 2026. Responsibilities Conduct cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction. Build orders, prepare food, and demonstrate knowledge in all areas of concessions operations. Maintain stock and supply levels and communicate low stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager. Listen to and respond to customer requests or concerns. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes. Serve beverages to guests, including responsible service of alcoholic beverages, checking IDs in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Must be 21 or over. Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry (preferred). Previous cash handling experience (preferred). Ability to learn to handle cash and operater a cash register and corresponding system. Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co‑workers, managers, volunteers, and guests. Must have or be able to obtain the Illinois Basset Certification to be legally certified to serve alcohol in Illinois.
