Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist for a maternity leave position, running from January through the end of the school year. This role is located in the area near Roanoke, IN, and provides valuable flexibility—with both full-time and part-time scheduling options available to fit your availability.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Indiana
• Relevant experience delivering OT services in a school setting is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and communication with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
• Organizational proficiency and adaptability in fast-paced environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted occupational therapy interventions and evaluations for students, adjusting caseload based on agreed availability
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student success across K-12 grades
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and monitor student progress throughout the assignment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and professional standards
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for school staff and families regarding student needs and therapeutic strategies

This contract role runs during regular school hours, Monday–Friday, 7:45am–3:45pm, with schedule flexibility based on your availability—whether you can offer two days or a full week.
