Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of classroom experience in special education required
• Must possess, or be in the process of securing, an active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) license
• Ability to provide proof of ACTIVE CDE license or status from COOL system prior to interview (applications without documentation will not be considered)
• Dedicated team player with strong collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to student and school needs as they arise

Responsibilities:

• Support the instructional needs of students with disabilities within a high school resource setting
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) alongside colleagues, families, and specialists
• Provide direct, small group, and individualized instruction to enhance learning outcomes
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state standards
• Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure inclusive education
• Attend meetings, participate in professional development, and contribute to a positive school culture
