System Analyst

Title: System Analyst III Location: Lansing, MI (Role begins fully onsite before transitioning to a hybrid schedule – 3-days remote/2-days onsite per week) Note: This is a W2 contract role – C2C, 1099, and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered This position functions as part of an Agile team with a heavy understanding and usage of the Azure DevOps tool as part of the required skillset. The System Analyst III is responsible for gathering, documenting, and testing clear, unambiguous business requirements from the client, understanding the business requirements thoroughly in order to communicate business needs and system functionality to technical and non-technical stakeholders, project team members, and the user community. The System Analyst serves as the Scrum Master (heavy usage of Azure DevOps tool) on projects and will coordinate with the PMO’s Project Manager for artifacts/documentation needed on projects. The System Analyst is responsible for working with the project team and stakeholders to examine existing and future-state business processes, data, and systems. This information is used to guide the gathering of business requirements and executing test cases as they relate to the desired system functionality. Position responsibilities include: · Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements · Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria · Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams · Create test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on requirements · Execute functional, integration, and regression testing; log and track defects · Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business partners · Validate delivered solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards · Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues · Assist with system demonstrations, training materials, and production validation · Ensure documentation remains accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle Position Qualifications: · 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or a Quality Assurance Analyst · 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps or a similar tool like JIRA, including a comfortability creating epics/features/user stories for projects as well as moving cards through the project lifecycle · 3+ years of experience with BA, QA, and DEV roles/responsibilities · 3+ years of experience with as-is/to-be processes and content creation · 3+ years of experience creating product roadmaps · 3+ years of experience with Project Management Methodologies/Agile processes · 3+ years of experience using BA/QA tools (e.g., FIGMA, Visio, etc.) · A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field Note: This is a W2 contract role – C2C, 1099, and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered #ALINE11
