Role Overview

• Position: IT Healthcare Consultant - Business Analyst (Advanced)

• Location: Columbia, SC

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote)

• Interview Process: 1-Round Virtual / Online

• Candidate Requirement: Must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting (at own expense).

Top Required Skills

• IBM C ram Software: 1+ years of hands-on Business Analysis experience with IBM C ram.

• Medicaid Eligibility & Healthcare: 2+ years of experience in Medicaid Eligibility or healthcare insurance environments.

• Government IT Projects: 1+ years of experience delivering IT projects within government or public sector frameworks.

• Requirements & Process Engineering: 1+ years of experience eliciting, mining, and documenting complex business rules, processes, and specifications.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Business, or Healthcare field.

Preferred Skills (Plus)

• Medicaid Management System (MMS) project or operations experience.

• Medicaid or healthcare insurance Subject Matter Expertise (SME).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project / Project Server.

Core Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between healthcare business teams and IT engineers by translating high-level program needs into functional specifications and Use Cases.

• Mine and analyze complex policy documents, laws, and regulations to document business rules and process flows.

• Maintain requirements, business rules, and models in a central repository, ensuring full traceability and change control.

• Collaborate closely with technical, testing, and vendor teams to guide solution design, risk management, and system delivery.
