Title Medical Assistant / Medical Technician Duration Open-ended Contract Shift Monday–Friday, Flexible (20–30 hours/week minimum; clinic hours 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Position Summary The Colleague Wellness Medical Assistant/Medical Technician will provide clinical occupational health and wellness services dictated by established Client guidelines and assist with clerical or other services as needed based on clinic needs. This role supports an onsite clinic functioning like an urgent care and occupational health clinic, providing personal medical care, emergency support, and occupational health services. The position involves conducting medical screenings, assisting with patient care, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. The individual will also support clinic operations including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and administrative tasks. This role requires maintaining confidentiality, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting a high-quality patient care environment. Responsibilities Conduct medical surveillance including spirometry, audiometric testing, vision testing, throat cultures, EKGs, and respirator fit testing Perform routine or specialized procedures such as venipuncture and drug screens Assess injuries, perform first aid, cleanse and dress wounds Flush eyes and ears Maintain confidentiality with all patient care, familiar with HIPAA regulations Maintain medical equipment including daily calibrations Schedule and monitor patient appointments Provide administrative support to the clinic Draw blood Spirometry and audiometry (training provided) Organizational Relationships Reports to Colleague Wellness (CW) site leader Works closely with CW Works directly with site colleagues Collaborates with various departments as needed Qualifications Education & Experience Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant Adept knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of how to care of medical emergencies of Chemical or biological hazard exposure Technical Skills Requirements Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) required Treatment of injuries Physical Position Requirements Ability to work in a clinic environment Our Commitment to Inclusion & Equity Net2Source is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering a workplace where diverse talents and perspectives are valued.
