Part Time Physical Therapist

We have an opportunity for a Part Time Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team. The ideal candidate for this role is a well-rounded pediatric physical therapist who enjoys working with both orthopedic and developmental populations in a collaborative, specialty care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience managing post-operative pediatric patients, including cases such as ACL reconstruction, periacetabular osteotomy (PAO), tibial derotational osteotomy, and other complex lower extremity surgeries.
• Comfort practicing in an outpatient setting and have worked with children in a clinical and play-based environment.
• Enjoy treating a diverse caseload—ranging from post-surgical rehab to children with gait abnormalities, toe walking, hip dysplasia, back pain, and motor delays.
• Evaluated or eager to evaluate pediatric patients for wheelchairs, gait trainers, standers, strollers, and other adaptive equipment.
• Partner with equipment vendors to ensure appropriate selection, justification, and procurement of mobility devices.
• Comfortable working alongside prosthetists and orthotists and incorporating bracing or prosthetic considerations into treatment plans.
• Value interdisciplinary care and actively collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, therapists, and other providers to achieve the best outcomes.
• Adapt orthopedic rehabilitation principles to meet the unique needs of growing children and adolescents.
• Engage patients and caregivers effectively, using developmentally appropriate strategies to support progress and carryover outside the clinic.
• Independent clinician who can balance a varied caseload and thrive in a specialty pediatric orthopedic setting.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed in WA
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in Physical Therapy

The pay range for this position is $33.79-$57.94/hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
