This is an extremely physically demanding position requiring heavy and repetitive lifting and the ability to thrive in extreme temperature conditions.BenefitsElwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Order Selector DetailsTemp-to-Hire position$19.00/hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredSecond Shift (Sunday through Friday from 03:00pm to 06:00am)Key ResponsibilitiesOperate within a production quota system, demonstrating the ability to pull an average of 175-185 cases per hour by the end of a 90-day probationary period, and maintain this level thereafter.Show consistent improvement in case pulling rates each week during the 90-day probationary period.Safely and accurately select customer orders in a high-volume warehouse setting.Work effectively in extreme temperature environments, including sections ranging from 0 degrees to -20 degrees Fahrenheit.Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures at all times.Maintain a high level of attendance and punctuality, critical during the 90-day probationary period and beyond.Order Selector QualificationsPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform heavy and repetitive lifting, frequently lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.Capable of performing strenuous physical activity for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Comfortable working in extreme cold temperatures (0°F to -20°F).Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent attendance record.Ability to follow directions and safety guidelines meticulously.Preferred QualificationsExperience operating a Stand Up ForkliftExperience operating a Pallet Jack.Demonstrated experience with repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
