Associate Veterinarian

The associate equine veterinarian is responsible for providing high quality, evidenced-based veterinary care to equine patients. We will provide you with an ambulatory truck with radiograph and ultrasound units because providing on farm diagnostics is a pillar of our practice. We have a full in-house laboratory and staff to support you. With a boarded surgeon and experienced sports medicine clinician on staff, we are able to provide ongoing mentorship for a younger veterinarian. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree from an accredited institution Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the applicable state Ability to obtain professional malpractice and liability insurance Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to safely handle horses and livestock Ability to lift 50 lbs Strong communication, client-service, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in an ambulatory environment Willingness to participate in emergency/on-call rotation Experience in equine ambulatory practice, possible interest in developing a farm animal caseload #J-18808-Ljbffr
