Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist with expertise in long-term care and mail order pharmacy operations. The position offers a unique work schedule, providing an advantageous balance between work and personal time, along with the potential for permanent placement.
Location: Shrewsbury, MA
Schedule:
Wednesday through Tuesday
7 days on, 7 days off
Night shift: 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM
Duration: 13 weeks, with possibility for direct hire
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify prescriptions in a long-term care and mail order pharmacy environment
Manage medication order entry using Frameworks software
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy
Qualifications:
Current Massachusetts pharmacy license required
Experience in long-term care pharmacy strongly preferred
Mail order pharmacy experience is a plus
Proficiency with Frameworks order entry system highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
