CDL-A HAZMAT OTR DRIVER

HAZMAT ENDORSEMENT? PUT IT TO WORK.

Not every CDL-A driver can haul Hazmat freight. If you’ve maintained the endorsement, kept your record in shape, and you’re willing to run OTR, current opportunities may put that additional qualification to work with strong mileage availability and newer equipment. Truck Driver Nation is accepting applications from qualified CDL-A Hazmat drivers for current OTR opportunities.

PAY & MILEAGE

$0.70 CPM on qualifying positions Approximately 3,000-3,500 miles per week available on select openings Weekly earning potential depends on actual dispatched miles Additional compensation may apply depending on the specific position and freight Actual miles, compensation, and earnings depend on freight availability, operating conditions, driver qualifications, and the specific position. Mileage and earnings are not guaranteed.

WHERE YOU’LL RUN

Current opportunities primarily operate through: Midwest South Southeast Exact lanes and operating areas depend on freight and the available position.

EQUIPMENT

Spend enough time OTR and the truck matters. Select current openings operate newer Freightliner Cascadias. Specific model year, transmission, amenities, and assigned equipment will be confirmed with qualified applicants based on availability.

HOME TIME

Current schedules may involve approximately three weeks on the road followed by scheduled home time. Home-time arrangements can vary by driver location and available position and will be discussed before moving forward.

WHAT THIS POSITION REQUIRES

Valid Class A CDL Current Hazmat endorsement Current medical card Ability to qualify for applicable hazardous-material freight Acceptable driving record Ability to meet DOT and motor-carrier requirements OTR availability Dependable professional communication Additional experience, MVR, PSP, drug-testing, accident, and qualification standards depend on the specific motor-carrier position.

THE ENDORSEMENT SHOULD MEAN SOMETHING

Getting and maintaining a Hazmat endorsement takes additional effort. We’re interested in drivers who want to use that qualification rather than carrying an endorsement that never improves the opportunities available to them. We’ll review your experience, endorsements, driving history, location, operating preferences, equipment expectations, and home-time requirements against currently available positions.
