Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Per Diem/PRN

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents

• Perform physical therapy treatments, including but not limited to exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques

• Monitor resident progress, report to physical therapists, and make recommendations for changes to treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatment

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care and effective communication

• Participate in staff training and educational programs to stay current on best practices and evidence-based care

• Demonstrate commitment to resident-centered care and strive to exceed resident expectations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or bachelor's degree in physical therapy or related field preferred

• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents according to established procedures and standards

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
