LVN/LPN Telemetry

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a 36-bed unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  
  
• 
  Perform wound care, wound vac changes, and IV insertions in accordance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Assist with the insertion of indwelling Foley catheters and monitor patient progress.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to prioritize patient needs.
  
  
• 
  Document all care activities accurately within the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current certifications and adhere to unit policies and dress code standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active nursing license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent Med-Surg or telemetry experience.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Possess excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to work every other weekend and on call as needed.
