CT Technologist

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 90-day contract position.

Schedule: Any 3 × 12 hour shifts or mixed shifts of 12s and 8s, including every other weekend or every third weekend coverage based on needs.

Job Description: The CT Technologist performs imaging procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment and expertise in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This role involves a variety of technical procedures requiring ingenuity and initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures independently.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes with a focus on patient safety and care.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to navigate complex imaging scenarios.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT Certificate or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• ACT 33 and ACT 73 clearances.
• GE Scanner experience is required.
