A highly regarded and growing law firm in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney with an established portable book of business to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney looking to expand their practice within a collaborative firm that values client service, business development, and long-term growth.
What You'll Do:
- Represent employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters
- Advise clients on employment policies, workplace investigations, compliance issues, and risk management strategies
- Handle employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenant disputes
- Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and related documents
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while growing your practice
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to provide comprehensive client solutions
What We're Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Missouri
- Significant experience in labor and employment law
- Portable book of business
- Strong client management and business development skills
- Proven ability to independently manage complex matters
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
