About the Position

ACLS and CPI preferred Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Reading rhythms - Cardiac medications and drips (no titration) Description: Position involves providing care in a cardiac telemetry unit. The nurse will monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms is essential. Administering medications and managing drips is required, without titration duties. Nurses will be part of a team that includes interdisciplinary support such as respiratory services and physical therapy. Patient ratios are typically 5-6 patients per nurse. Weekend shifts are a requirement, with six weekend shifts over a six-week period. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Candidates must have experience in telemetry and be comfortable with various cardiac treatments. Experience with the EPIC charting system is necessary. Candidates will be floating within the service line as needed. The position requires a commitment to patient care and collaboration with other health professionals. Additional responsibilities may include managing central lines, pacemakers, and other cardiac interventions. Must be prepared to handle and administer blood products and manage patient conditions post-cardiac procedures. Compliance with all health and safety regulations is expected.
