Job Title: General Laborer Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support both field operations and warehouse activities. This is a hands-on position that requires flexibility, physical stamina, and a willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment and panels at customer and project sites.
• Load and unload materials, move sandbags, and transport supplies.
• Provide general labor support to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Clean and organize materials at the warehouse.
• Move equipment and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Support daily operational needs both in the field and at the warehouse.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Safely lift, carry, and transport materials, with team lifting required for items exceeding 50 pounds.
• Consistent reliability with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Teamwork and adaptability in working closely with technicians, supervisors, and crew members.

• Previous experience in construction, landscaping, event setup, moving, warehouse, or related labor-intensive environments preferred but not required.
• Experience organizing inventory, maintaining clean workspaces, and assisting with warehouse operations.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
• Strong attendance record and ability to work flexible hours when required.
• Must have reliable transportation to report to the warehouse.

This position offers a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. Company transportation is provided to job sites from the warehouse.

This role involves a combination of indoor warehouse and outdoor job site environments, with approximately 70% travel to project locations and 30% warehouse-based work. Expect frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Be prepared for exposure to varying weather conditions while working outdoors in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with changing daily priorities. Physical work is required throughout the position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodbridge, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
