Product Development Engineer

job summary:
We are searching for a Product Engineer - Product Development & Testing in Bonham, TX to work for a custom manufacturing company. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of experience with R&D and product testing. Experience within the Division 8 construction industry is preferred.

responsibilities:

• Develop new door and architectural opening systems from concept through production.
• Create and refine product designs, assemblies, components, and mechanisms.
• Develop test plans and conduct functional, cycle, load, environmental, safety, and performance testing.
• Document test methods, results, failures, conclusions, and recommended design changes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues using structured root-cause analysis.
• Improve existing products for performance, reliability, manufacturability, installation, serviceability, cost, and safety.
