Plant Accountant

Responsible for maintaining accurate cost systems, inventory integrity, and financial reporting while supporting sales, programs, and operational leadership. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure pricing accuracy, cost control, compliance, and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities Maintain the standard cost system, including overhead and labor rates Perform annual standard cost roll in SAP Maintain and update part numbers, bills of material (BOMs), and routings in SAP Process cost system changes through the ECN process as required Maintain SAP perpetual inventory accuracy Review inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies Prepare month‑end journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and headquarters Complete AOP and SBR sales, sales deductions, and cost of sales (COS) items Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales volume forecasts Investigate errors, risks, and opportunities; develop action plans to mitigate negative impacts Identify waste minimization and material recycling opportunities Qualifications & Skills BS or BA in Accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent experience Ability to work effectively with senior‑level management SAP experience is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Diversified Recruitment Services, LLC
