Ambercare Homecare is looking for Admissions Registered Nurse to come join our rapidly growing team in Albuquerque, NM. Full-Time Schedule: Friday through Tuesday 8am to 5pm Must have Home Health experience and knowledge of OASIS What We offer: Great culture and team atmosphere Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, effective on the first of the month 401(k) retirement plan with a generous company match Generous time off accruals Paid holidays Mileage reimbursement Tuition Reimbursement Employee Referral Program Merit Increases Employee Discount Programs What You’ll Do: Obtain data and assess necessary information from the patient physical, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that may impact the patient and family's needs and initiate intervention by other members of the interdisciplinary team Initiate communication with the attending physician, interdisciplinary team, and other agencies for the purpose of coordinating optimal care Provide regular visits to re-assess the patient's needs and update the plan of care Perform therapeutic, preventative, and rehabilitative nursing procedures as directed by the attending physician Perform clinical pronouncement of death and provide support to the family Maintain accurate patient records, charts, progress notes, and reports and prepare care plans timely Supervise and document delivery of care by the Home Health Aide as required by Federal, State, and Company guidelines Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited registered nurse program Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice Maintains a current CPR certification 1 year Home Health experience required Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required Employee wellbeing is top priority at Addus Homecare, and we're thrilled to announce our recognition as the top healthcare company on Indeed's 2024 Top 100 Work Wellbeing Index.
