Principal UX Designer

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design efforts across multiple product teams with minimal supervision.
- Partner with product managers and stakeholders to shape product strategy and customer experience vision.
- Create user-centered designs for web, mobile, and other digital channels.
- Leverage user research, data insights, and feedback to inform design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, workflows, information architecture, and interaction designs.
- Drive consistency through design systems, reusable patterns, and scalable design solutions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Facilitate design workshops, reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
- Mentor and coach junior designers while contributing to the overall UX culture and design maturity.
- Provide thought leadership on UX best practices, innovation, and emerging trends.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of UX design or related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Interactive Design, Human Factors, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Experience designing and delivering digital products within Agile environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and successful product outcomes.
- Experience leveraging user research and data to drive design decisions.
Required Skills
- Expertise in UX design disciplines such as interaction design, information architecture, visual design, prototyping, user research, design thinking, and content design.
- Ability to design across web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
- Working knowledge of web and mobile development principles.
- Experience contributing to and utilizing design systems.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and customer-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional design initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience mentoring and developing UX talent.
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and driving design innovation.
