Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Crystal Lake, IL | 100% onsite

Pay: $25/hour

Job Type: 4-Month Contract (Potential Extension)

Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling Available

Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team during an exciting period of growth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys recruiting, building candidate relationships, and making an immediate impact while also supporting broader HR and administrative functions.

The organization is experiencing its highest hiring demand in years and needs a recruiter who can help attract top talent, keep hiring efforts moving, and support a busy HR team. While this is initially a 4-month contract assignment , there is potential for extension based on business needs and performance. Extension is not guaranteed.

What You'll Do

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

• Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
• Source candidates through job boards, databases, and direct outreach
• Screen applicants and conduct phone interviews
• Coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers
• Maintain candidate pipelines and provide timely follow-up
• Extend offers and support onboarding activities
• Track recruiting metrics and hiring activity using ATS and Excel

HR & Administrative Support

• Maintain recruiting records and documentation
• Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee files
• Support reporting and data tracking initiatives
• Organize recruiting and HR documentation
• Assist with additional administrative projects as needed
• Provide general support to the HR team during periods of high hiring activity

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, sourcing, HR, or a related field
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, ATS platforms, or HR systems
• Comfortable balancing recruiting responsibilities with administrative tasks
• High-volume recruiting experience
• Manufacturing, industrial, or hourly hiring experience
• Experience with Workday, Indeed, or other applicant tracking systems
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
