Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for; recent travel experience will suffice. License: Permanent state license or compact license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; must be active and in hand at time of application. Must-Have: MUST HAVE 18 months combined permanent experience in surgical intensive care unit. MUST HAVE recent surgical intensive care unit experience. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Traveler must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and additional assessments during orientation. Description: This position offers the opportunity to work in a surgical intensive care unit. Shifts will rotate between day and night with a focus on providing critical care to patients. Team members are expected to remain flexible to meet the operational needs of the facility. All candidates must hold a valid permanent state or compact license. Any background hits will be reviewed by the facility, and travelers cannot have an open case. Candidates must be nicotine-free, with drug screening required. Exemptions apply to nurses and surgical technologists until further notice. Candidates may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning. Modules will be required for compliance, with some hours being billable. All required certifications and qualifications must be up to date prior to commencement of the assignment.
