Custodian – 11:00 am – 7:00 pm Hamilton Local Schools – Hamilton Elementary School, Columbus, Ohio Description: Hamilton Local School District is seeking a Custodian to work the 11:00 am to 7:00 pm shift on a 260‑day contract, 8 hours per day, starting July 2, 2026. Base pay is as per the OAPSE Negotiated Agreement. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Acceptable Ohio BCI & FBI background checks Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with tens and hundreds) Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies Understanding of cleaning chemicals usage and storage Responsibilities and Essential Functions See attached job description.
