As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with educators, school counselors, and healthcare professionals to create a holistic support network for students. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed clinical assessments of students to evaluate mental health issues, emotional challenges, and social factors affecting their well-being. Develop individualized treatment plans based on best practices and solution-focused therapy interventions, tracking progress and modifying approaches as necessary. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or motivational interviewing, tailored to the unique needs of each student. Maintain meticulous records of clinical interactions, ensuring compliance with both state and federal regulations. Participate in interprofessional collaborations and case consultations to coordinate care efforts and improve treatment outcomes for students. Educate students and their families about mental health issues, equipping them with strategies and resources to manage their challenges. Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and methodologies in social work and mental health, synthesizing this knowledge into practice. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role is to serve a diverse population of students within local schools who may experience various mental health challenges. This can include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related stress. By fostering a supportive atmosphere, you will help empower these students to overcome obstacles and thrive academically and socially. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution is required. A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Tennessee. At least three years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy, particularly in school or community settings. Strong knowledge and proficiency in implementing solution-based psychotherapy techniques. Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of collaborative work. Preferred Experience Experience working in a school or educational setting is highly advantageous, as it provides insight into the specific challenges faced by students. Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration, particularly within educational environments. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
