About the Role:
King Pelican Laundry LLC is looking for a reliable and friendly Laundromat Worker to join our team in San Pedro, CA! Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding
- Operate and monitor commercial washers and dryers to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundromat floor, machines, and restrooms
- Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems
- Restock laundry supplies such as detergent, dryer sheets, and vending items
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a laundromat, hospitality, or customer service role preferred
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
