Senior Product Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA Reports to: CTO Compensation: $140,000 – $155,000 per annum Company Overview Cargomatic is a rapidly growing company disrupting the trucking industry. As the #1 technology platform and digital marketplace for local trucking, we connect shippers and commercial truck drivers with mobile technology to bring transparency and efficiency to the shipping process. Role Senior Product Manager – The leader will define product strategy, drive roadmap investment decisions, and deliver products that create measurable value for customers and the business. Responsibilities Own execution of the product roadmap, including business cases, prioritization, release planning, user stories, product requirements, and experience design. Develop innovative solutions grounded in deep customer insight to create exceptional user experiences. Lead iterative planning sessions with stakeholders and product/engineering teams to maintain alignment and drive continuous improvement. Oversee marketplace onboarding and adoption, including API and EDI integrations in partnership with customer delivery leads. Foster cross‑functional partnerships across engineering, sales, finance, and operations. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and maintain clear documentation of processes. Qualifications & Experience 8+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of delivering successful software products for enterprise and SMB customers. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and email communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior leaders and key stakeholders. Strong passion for customer experience with a history of delivering impactful, high‑quality solutions. Excellent analytical skills with a strong bias toward data‑driven decision‑making. Ability to understand complex business problems and develop solutions that create customer and business value. Technical fluency to discuss architectural concepts, trade‑offs, and opportunities with engineering teams. Interest in and passion for the supply‑chain and logistics industry.
