Tax Manager

Location : Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid role, 3 days a week onsite) Salary : up to $210K/yr DOE (could potentially have additional flexibility DOE) Length: Full Time Our Client is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager for their growing, award-winning, firm. The ideal candidate will have strong generalist tax experience (e.g., partnerships, individuals, S & C corps, nonprofits, SALT, etc. NOTE: candidates don't need experience in every area listed, but a blended background would be great!). Busy Season hours: 55 hours a week max Summer Friday (day off work) Potential to move into a Partner role Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Prepare and review tax returns (Partnerships/ S & C Corps/ Individuals/ Nonprofits/ etc.) Research complex tax issues and provide actionable recommendations to senior management. Supervise, mentor, and train tax staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and consistency. Create & maintain strong relationships with external advisors, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance Active CPA is required (alternatively, candidates with an active EA license pursuing their CPA are welcome to apply) 5+ years of professional tax experience Strong communication and analytical skills Other Benefits : Retirement account + advisory services Performance Bonuses Community atmosphere with employee perks/ events throughout the year #J-18808-Ljbffr AT Recruitment (ATR)
